The proceeds will first pay race expenses then out of pocket medical bills. Remaining proceeds will pay for supplies for the after party (Everyone who shows up for the race is invited to the after party!)
Revenue will be generated in the following ways:
-50/50 raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each or 6 for $5 (50% of total gross sales will go to raffle winner, remaining 50% of sales will pay for race costs/medical expenses)
-Runner registration. Registration to run is $5.00- proceeds will go directly to race costs and and medical expenses.
-Water balloons to be thrown at participants will be sold for 25¢ each at the finish line and proceeds will go directly toward race costs and medical expenses.
